Andrea and Bertie Havenga started Horse Trail Adventures in September 2007, because they both have a passion for horses and enjoy working with them so much. Bertie did endurance riding from 1991 - 1997. He also had his own Arab Stud. Andrea and Bertie will be your guides, so when you go for a trail, you will surely meet them in person. In the beginning they started with 3 horses, one of which was for the guide, and could only accommodate 2 guests at a time. They currently have 11 trail horses that are very tame and basically bombproof. They cater for both experienced riders and those with no experience and have horses to suit all to have a fun filled ride.

Directions
Horse Trail Adventures is situated 7km outside Gansbaai on the Pearly Beach Road. On the outskirts of Gansbaai you will see the Kleinbaai (where you can go shark cage diving) and Dangerpoint (where you can visit the Dangerpoint Lighthouse) turnoff. Continue on the R43 in the direction of the Franskraal turnoff. Once again continue staight ahead on the R43. Then on the left you will see the Baardskeerdersbos and Elim turnoff (gravel road) with the Uilenkraalsmond on your right. Turn left at this crossroads and continue for about 40 metres, then turn left again at Montego's Pub and you will find Horse Trail Adventures. All our horse trails start from here.
